Affiliate Program Terms
These Terms are part of, and incorporate, the Ballengine.app Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. The agreement
These Affiliate Program Terms ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Affiliate") and Ball Engine Studios, operator of the website ballengine.app as an entity ("we", "us"). By enrolling, accepting these Terms, or using a referral link to earn commission, you agree to them.
2. Eligibility
The program is open by application and approval only. To participate you must be at least 18 years old, have a Ballengine.app account in good standing, meet our minimum follower/subscriber requirement on at least one social platform, have a valid PayPal account, and not be located in any sanctioned country or be a person we are legally prohibited from paying. Our employees and contractors are not eligible to earn on their own purchases.
3. Application, approval & your referral link
To join, you submit an application confirming your age, your social platforms and profile links, and your follower counts, and accepting these Terms. If you do not confirm you are 18+ or do not meet the minimum follower requirement on at least one platform, your application may be automatically declined; you may re-apply later (a waiting period may apply). Applications that pass these checks may be approved automatically or reviewed manually, at our discretion. You must provide accurate information. A referral link is issued only after your application is approved.
4. How commissions are earned
A referral is attributed to you when a new user signs up through your link, tracked via a 30-day cookie and permanently bound to that account at registration (first-touch). A user can be referred only once. You earn a one-time commission of 30% of the first successful payment made by a referred user when they upgrade to a paid subscription. Commissions are not recurring.
5. Holding period, refunds & chargebacks
Each earned commission is held for a confirmation period before it becomes eligible for payout. If the referred user receives a refund, cancels under a money-back guarantee, or initiates a chargeback, the related commission is reversed; if already paid, we may deduct it from future commissions. We may withhold or reverse any commission we reasonably believe results from fraud or a breach of these Terms.
6. Payouts
Payouts are made via PayPal to the email you provide; you are responsible for its accuracy and any PayPal fees. The minimum payout threshold is $25; balances below it roll over. Payouts are processed monthly, on or around the 1st, for commissions that cleared the holding period, subject to manual review.
7. Taxes
You are solely responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any taxes on commissions you earn, and for providing accurate identifying and tax information where required. Where the law requires, we may withhold taxes and/or report payments. We do not provide tax advice.
8. Promotion rules
You must disclose that your link is an affiliate link wherever you share it, and promote Ballengine.app truthfully. You must not: make false or guaranteed-income claims; send spam; bid on our brand name in paid search or impersonate us; use cookie stuffing or deceptive tracking; self-refer or refer accounts you control; or promote via adult, hateful, illegal, or infringing content. Coupon/deal sites and browser-extension injection require prior written approval.
9. Confidentiality & data
You will only receive aggregate statistics about your referrals (counts and earnings) and must not attempt to obtain the personal information of users you refer. We process referral data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Independent contractor
You are an independent participant. Nothing here creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship, and you have no authority to make commitments on our behalf.
11. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your participation, withhold or forfeit unpaid commissions, and reverse paid commissions, at any time for any violation, suspected fraud, or as required by law. You may leave the program at any time; commissions properly earned and not subject to reversal will be paid per the normal schedule.
12. Changes & no guarantee
We may change the commission rate, thresholds, schedule, or these Terms at any time, effective prospectively. Participation does not guarantee any earnings, and the program is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability relating to the program is limited to the commissions actually payable to you.
