What's the difference between the Free, Creator, Pro, Elite and Agency plans?

Free (Starter Studio) is for getting started: the core settings and the Art tab, 12 ball effects, 12 sound presets and the big Randomize button, 720p exports with a watermark, 5 exports a month, 1 free cloud render and 250 MB storage. Creator ($29/mo) gives you full manual control of every 2D setting (physics, trails, collision effects and titles) and AI song writing, with 30 exports a month at 1080p, 20 cloud render credits, room to compose 1,000 original tracks and 25 GB storage. Pro ($49/mo) adds the 3D settings, picking what Randomize changes, the audio effects rack, 4K rendering, a custom branded watermark, 60 exports a month (2 a day), 40 cloud render credits, the full preset library (all 1,200+ ball effects, every layout and formation, and all 310 sound presets), room to compose 10,000 original tracks, and 100 GB storage. Elite ($99/mo) is everything in Pro for 2 people, with 300 exports a month (10 a day), 100 cloud render credits and 200 GB storage. Agency ($199/mo) is everything in Elite for 6 people, with 750 exports a month (25 a day), 250 cloud render credits and 500 GB storage. Cloud renders are at most 1080p on every plan. Can my team share one plan?

Yes, on the two team plans. Elite is for 2 people and Agency for 6, the owner included. Each teammate signs in with their own account and everyone posts from the owner's monthly allowance, so seats never multiply the exports. Invite people from Settings; only the owner can change or pay for the plan.

How much does each plan cost?

Accepted Answer

Creator is $29/month, or $240/year (about $20/month). Pro is $49/month, or $348/year (about $29/month). Elite is $99/month, or $540/year (about $45/month). Agency is $199/month, or $948/year (about $79/month). Every price includes tax. The Free plan is free forever. Automation is priced separately, from $9/month. Annual billing is the cheaper way to pay for any of them, a year of Creator is $240 instead of $348 paid monthly. If you already subscribe, you keep the price you signed up with for as long as that subscription keeps renewing.

Question 4

I already subscribe. Do the new prices change my plan?

Accepted Answer

No. If you subscribed before the current prices, you keep the price and the export allowance you signed up with (Creator 60 or 100 a month and Pro 120 or 250 a month, depending on when you subscribed, and Pro from before 12 September 2026 stays unlimited) for as long as that same subscription keeps renewing. If it ends and you subscribe again later, the current prices and allowances apply. Changing to a different plan moves you to that plan's current price and allowance.

How can I try BallEngine before paying?

Use the Free plan: it is free forever, needs no card, and never expires. You get the studio, the simulation modes, and 5 exports a month at 720p with a small watermark. That is a real working account, not a countdown. When you want the watermark gone and full manual control of every setting, [Creator](/plans) is $29/month and you can cancel in one click.

Question 6

Do I own commercial rights to the videos I make?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Videos you export on a paid plan (Creator, Pro, Elite or Agency) come with a commercial license, you own them and can monetize them on YouTube, TikTok, Reels, or anywhere else. Free exports are intended for personal use and testing.

Question 7

How many videos can I export?

Accepted Answer

The Free plan includes 5 exports a month. Creator includes 30 a month (1 video a day), Pro 60 a month (2 a day), Elite 300 a month (10 a day) and Agency 750 a month (25 a day). A subscription that was already running keeps the allowance it was bought with for as long as it renews. If you need more than that every month, contact support about an Enterprise plan.

How much cloud rendering is included with a plan?

Creator includes 20 cloud render credits a month, Pro 40, Elite 100 and Agency 250. One credit covers 30 seconds of finished video at 720p 30 fps, and 1080p 60 fps uses 2 credits per 30 seconds. So Creator's credits make 20 videos of 30 seconds at 720p 30 fps or 10 at 1080p 60 fps, Pro's make 40 or 20, Elite's make 100 or 50, and Agency's make 250 or 125. You pay for video, not machine time, however long our GPUs take. A free account gets one cloud render to try, up to 30 seconds at 720p 30 fps, once. If a render fails your credits come back automatically.

Do cloud render credits expire?

The credits included with your plan refresh every month and do not roll over, so they are there to be used. Credits you buy separately last 12 months from purchase. When you render, we always use the plan credits first, then the bought credits that expire soonest, so nothing you paid for lapses while newer credits are spent. A yearly plan still refills monthly rather than landing as one lump.

Can I buy more cloud rendering?

Yes. Render credits are sold in the credits section and last 12 months from purchase. One credit covers 30 seconds of 720p 30 fps video, and 1080p 60 fps uses 2 credits per 30 seconds, so 100 credits make 100 videos of 30 seconds at 720p 30 fps or 50 at 1080p 60 fps. Larger amounts cost less per credit. You do not need a plan or developer API access to buy or use them in the Studio, but without a paid Studio plan your cloud renders carry the ballengine.app watermark. The same credits work through our API if you have been given access to it.

Question 11

What payment methods can I use, and is billing secure?

Billing is handled securely by our payment provider, you never enter card details on our own servers, and we never see or store your full card number. You can pay with major credit and debit cards plus the wallet options shown at checkout, and every transaction is encrypted.

Question 12

Can I cancel anytime, and what's your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Yes: cancel in one click from your Account Settings and you'll keep paid features until the end of your current billing period. Because the product is digital and renders on our servers, we don't offer refunds: the Free plan is there so you can evaluate everything before you pay. If you're ever charged in error, email [support@ballengine.app](mailto:support@ballengine.app) within 30 days and we'll fix it.

Question 13

What happens if I cancel or downgrade mid-cycle?

You keep your current plan's features until the billing period ends, then your account reverts to Free. Any projects that exceed the Free limits stay safely stored, you just won't be able to create new ones past the limit until you upgrade or free up space.

Are there any hidden fees or contracts?

No. Plans are a straightforward monthly or yearly subscription, no contracts, no setup fees, and you can cancel anytime. Every limit is listed right on the [plans page](/plans), so you always know exactly what you're paying for.
