What this covers
BallEngine offers optional, user-authorized integrations that publish your rendered videos to your own YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Threads, Pinterest, and X (Twitter) accounts. When you connect one of these, we store only the tokens and identifiers needed to publish on your behalf (see our Privacy Policy). You can remove that data at any time using any of the methods below.
Option 1: Disconnect a linked account (instant)
This is the fastest way to erase the data stored for a single platform. It takes effect immediately.
- Sign in at ballengine.app/studio.
- Open the Publish tab and select the platform (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Threads, Pinterest, or X).
- Click Disconnect.
Disconnecting immediately deletes that platform's stored access tokens and account identifiers from our active systems. You can reconnect anytime by re-authorizing through the platform's consent screen.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
Prefer us to handle it? Email support@ballengine.app from the address on your BallEngine account, using the subject line for the data you want removed:
- YouTube: Subject: “YouTube Data Deletion”
- TikTok: Subject: “TikTok Data Deletion”
- Facebook: Subject: “Meta Data Deletion”
- Instagram: Subject: “Instagram Data Deletion”
- Snapchat: Subject: “Snapchat Data Deletion”
- Threads: Subject: “Threads Data Deletion”
- Pinterest: Subject: “Pinterest Data Deletion”
- X (Twitter): Subject: “X Data Deletion”
To delete everything at once, use the subject line “Full Data Deletion Request”.
Option 3: Delete your entire BallEngine account
Deleting your account removes your profile, saved projects, uploaded assets, and every connected social integration (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Threads, Pinterest, and X tokens and records). Email support@ballengine.app with the subject “Delete My Account” from your account email, and we will process it.
What happens & when
- ImmediatelyDisconnecting a platform in-app deletes that platform’s stored tokens and identifiers from our active systems right away.
- Automatically (30 days)Records we derive from a platform API for videos you publish (returned post/media IDs and API responses) are automatically and permanently deleted once older than 30 days, even without a request.
- Within 30 daysEmail deletion requests and full account deletions are completed within 30 days of verification.
- Up to 90 daysResidual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 90 days, after which they are permanently unrecoverable.
Deleting data from BallEngine does not delete videos already published to your YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Threads, Pinterest, or X accounts, those remain under your control on each platform. You can also revoke BallEngine's access directly from each platform's app/permissions settings.
