Exporting High-Quality Videos for Social Media
Master the export pipeline to produce crisp 4K footage at 60fps for any platform.

The Export Panel
Access the Export panel by clicking the camera icon in the top toolbar. Here you control every aspect of your video output: resolution, frame rate, format, duration, and quality. The Creator Studio uses an offline rendering pipeline — it captures each frame individually and assembles them into a video file, ensuring every frame is perfectly rendered regardless of your device's real-time performance.
Resolution and Aspect Ratio
Choose from preset resolutions: 720p (HD), 1080p (Full HD), 1440p (2K), and 2160p (4K). For social media, 1080p is the sweet spot between quality and file size. Always match the aspect ratio to your target platform: 9:16 for TikTok/Shorts/Reels, 16:9 for YouTube landscape videos, and 1:1 for Instagram feed posts.
- →720p: 1280×720 (landscape) or 720×1280 (portrait)
- →1080p: 1920×1080 (landscape) or 1080×1920 (portrait)
- →4K: 3840×2160 (landscape) or 2160×3840 (portrait)
- →Custom resolution supported up to 4096×4096
Frame Rate Selection
Frame rate determines how smooth your video appears. 30fps is standard but can look choppy during fast physics. 60fps is recommended for all physics content — it captures the full fluidity of ball motion and makes collisions look natural. The offline renderer ensures consistent frame timing even if your device cannot maintain 60fps in real-time.
- •Always export at 60fps for physics content — the difference is dramatic.
- •TikTok compresses uploads, so starting at 60fps ensures the final result stays smooth.
- •For slow-motion ASMR content, record at 60fps and slow down to 0.5x in your editor.
File Format and Compression
The Creator Studio exports as WebM (VP9 codec) by default, which offers excellent quality at small file sizes. For maximum compatibility, choose MP4 (H.264). If you plan to do color grading in a video editor, export as a PNG image sequence to preserve full quality. Always set the bitrate to "High" for social media content.
Batch Export and Presets
Save your export settings as presets for quick access. Create separate presets for each platform: "TikTok Vertical 60fps", "YouTube Landscape 4K", "Instagram Square HD". When you have a simulation you love, use batch export to render it in all formats simultaneously. This saves time and ensures consistent output across platforms.
