The Interactive Studio: Empowering the Creator
December was about breaking the fourth wall. We moved from static simulations to a fully interactive studio environment.
From Watcher to Creator
While November was about making the engine move, December was about giving you the steering wheel. We realized that the real magic of a physics simulation isn't just seeing things bounce—it's changing the rules of the world while it's running.
The Settings Revolution
This month, we introduced the first iteration of the "Control Island" concept. We built a real-time bridge between the UI and the physics worker, allowing you to manipulate gravity and friction without stopping the simulation.
Foundation for the Cloud
As users started creating complex "worlds," the need for saving became urgent. We began our integration with Cloudflare D1 (SQL) and R2 (Storage). This was a massive undertaking, moving away from local storage to a robust, server-side project management system.
""Privacy and persistence go hand in hand. Every setting change is now prepared for the cloud, ensuring your creativity is never lost to a browser refresh.""
Technical Milestone: State Synchronization
We solved the complex problem of syncing the "Settings State" with the "Physics Worker State." This ensures that when you move a slider, the simulation reacts within 16 milliseconds, maintaining the sense of total control.
