Create an account, verify your email, change your display name, find your way around your account page, and delete your account.
Creating an Account
Open the Sign Up page (ballengine.app/signup). Sign up with Google in one click, or with an email address and a password. With email, you enter your email and a password twice and tick the box agreeing to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. A second box, unticked, subscribes you to product news if you want it. Sometimes a quick security check appears before you can continue.
Tip
- Your password needs at least 8 characters, with at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one number.
Verifying Your Email
An email sign-up is active once you prove you own the address. Right after you sign up we email you a 6-digit code and the verification screen opens. Type the code; it submits as soon as all 6 digits are in. The code expires after 15 minutes.
No email? Check your spam folder. "Resend email" sends a new code 60 seconds after the last one; always use the newest. Google sign-ups are verified automatically.
Signing In with Google
The Google button signs you in with your Google account; no password is created. If you already have a BallEngine account with the same email, Google opens that same account. You can add a password later from your account page (Password & security), after which both ways work.
Your Display Name
An email sign-up starts with a name taken from the part of your email before the @; a Google sign-up starts with your Google name. Change it any time on your account page. A display name must be 3 to 20 characters and can use letters, numbers, underscores (_) and hyphens (-). A few names such as "admin" or "support" are reserved.
Your Account Page
Your account page is ballengine.app/settings. Open it from your profile picture at the top right of the site, or from Account on the Studio rail. The sections, top to bottom:

| App settings | Install the app (or download the Windows app), and Launch on startup inside the Windows app. |
Where Your Work and Data Live
Your current Studio settings are remembered in your browser. Setups you save to the cloud, and the songs, MIDI files, sounds and images you upload, are stored with your account, so they follow you to any device you sign in on. They count toward your plan's cloud storage: 250 MB on the free plan, 25 GB on Creator, 100 GB on Pro, 200 GB on Elite and 500 GB on Agency. Videos you render on This device are saved to your own device, not to your account.

Deleting Your Account
To delete your account, email support@ballengine.app from the email address on your account, or open a support ticket while signed in. Once you confirm, we permanently delete your account, saved presets, synced creations and connected social accounts, and cancel any active subscription. This cannot be undone. If you only want to step away for a while, cancel your subscription and keep the account instead.
Tip
- Use the subject line "Delete My Account" so your request is handled quickly. The Data Deletion page (ballengine.app/data-deletion) also explains how to remove a single connected social account instead.
- Deleting your BallEngine account does not remove videos you already posted to YouTube, TikTok or other platforms.
- Download any videos and setups you want to keep before you ask.
