Logging In & Password Recovery
Sign in with email or Google, pass a two-factor check, reset a forgotten password, and change your password.
Logging In
On the Login page (ballengine.app/login), click "Continue with Google", or enter your email and password. You land in the Studio, or on the page you were trying to open. If your email was never verified, we send a new code first.
One Device at a Time
Your account stays signed in on one device at a time. Signing in on a new device or browser signs the older session out, which then shows "Session Expired". Just sign in again where you want to work. If you see this and it was not you, change your password straight away and turn on two-factor authentication.
If You Have Two-Factor Turned On
After your password, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app. Cannot reach your phone? Use one of your saved backup codes instead; each works once. See Securing Your Account with MFA.
Resetting a Forgotten Password
- 1On the Login page, click "Forgot?" next to the password field.
- 2Enter the email address on your account and send.
- 3Open the password reset email and click the link in it. It works for 15 minutes.
- 4Type your new password twice and save it. You are signed in, and signed out everywhere else.
Tip
- No email after a minute or two? Check spam, and make sure you typed the exact address you signed up with.
- Accounts created with Google have no password to reset. Use "Continue with Google", or add a password on your account page.
Changing Your Password While Logged In
On your account page, under Password & security, enter your current password and your new password twice. Forgot the current one? Use "Reset via email": we email you a 6-digit code to enter with your new password.
If You Cannot Sign In
If sign-in says your account is suspended and you believe it is a mistake, contact support@ballengine.app. If it says sign-in is temporarily unavailable, wait a moment and try again. Account & Login Problems in Troubleshooting covers more cases.
