Feature Requests and the Roadmap
Ask for a feature, vote on other people's ideas, and see what is being built.
Where to find it
The board lives at /roadmap (the Roadmap link in the site footer; /feature-requests goes to the same page). Inside the Studio, open Help on the rail and choose Feature requests to see the same board without leaving your project.
Anyone can read the board. You need to be signed in to post a request or vote.
What the board shows
Requests are grouped by status, in this order:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| In progress | Being built right now. |
| Planned | Accepted and queued for a future release. |
| Under review | Open for votes. Nothing decided yet. |
| Shipped | Live in the app. Shows the version it shipped in. |
| Not planned | We decided against this one, and said why. |
Tip
- A note marked "From the team" on a request explains a decision or gives an update.
- The Known issues list on /roadmap shows problems that are confirmed and being worked on. There is no need to report those again.
Posting a request
- 1Press Request a feature.
- 2Write a one-line title (6 to 90 characters) saying what we should build.
- 3Describe what you are trying to make and what stops you today (20 to 2000 characters).
- 4Pick a category: General, Modes, Audio and music, Publishing, Export and rendering, Studio interface, or Apps and platforms.
- 5Tick "Post without my username" if you do not want your name shown.
- 6Press Submit request.
Tip
- You can post up to 3 requests a day.
- Every request is reviewed by a person before it appears publicly. Until then it is marked "Waiting for review. Only you can see this." If it is not accepted, only you see "Not accepted for the public board."
- Found a bug rather than a missing feature? Use "Report it privately" at the bottom of /roadmap, or contact support at /support. Bug reports stay between you and the team.
Voting on requests
Press the vote button on a request to add your vote, and press it again to remove it. You get one vote per request. Votes tell us what matters most; they are a strong signal, not an automatic decision.
If two requests ask for the same thing, we may merge them. Your vote moves to the merged request automatically.
