Common Questions

Quick answers to the issues users hit most often — sync, locks, saves, and recordings.

01

Why is there no audio sync?

First, make sure audio is actually playing and the volume is up — the browser may have auto-muted the tab. Check that your beat sensitivity is not set to zero, and confirm you are in a mode that uses audio (Rhythmic, or another mode with the Music Sync add-on enabled). If you uploaded a track, make sure it has a clear, detectable beat.

Pro Tip

Browsers often mute autoplaying tabs. Click into the page once to allow audio, then restart the simulation.

02

Why is this setting locked?

A lock overlay means the feature requires a higher plan than your current one — it will name the plan needed ("Pro plan or higher required"). Many advanced controls are Pro features. Tap Upgrade to Unlock to see the options, or review the "Free vs Pro: What Unlocks" guide for the full gated list.

03

Everything locked with "Internet connection required"?

The engine validates your plan with our servers, so premium features lock if you lose your internet connection. Reconnect and they will unlock again. If you are online and still see this, refresh the page so the studio can re-check your subscription.

04

Where are my saved presets?

Local saves live in the specific browser and device you made them on — they will not appear elsewhere or after clearing browser data. Cloud saves are tied to your account; make sure you are logged into the same account to see your full library. Promote important presets to cloud saves so they are backed up.

05

My premium features disappeared.

If a subscription has expired, your account drops to the free tier and a renewal banner appears at the top of the app — premium features lock until you renew. Your presets and account are not deleted. Renew from the Settings page to restore access.

06

My recording failed or looks wrong.

Recording failures usually mean the device ran low on memory or could not keep up. Try a shorter clip, a lower resolution or frame rate, and make sure hardware acceleration is on and your laptop is charging. Switching to a different export format (MP4 vs WebM) can also help if your browser struggles with one.
