Studio Problems
Greyed-out and locked settings, the offline lock, lost setups, and settings that seem to reset.
A Setting Is Greyed Out
Greyed out means the control cannot do anything right now, not that it is locked to a plan. Hover or tap its ⓘ: the explanation starts with "Disabled" and says why. The usual reasons: it depends on another setting that is off, it only works in certain modes, a recording is running, or a mode in development is selected.
A Setting Shows a Lock
A lock with a plan name means the feature belongs to that plan. Pressing it opens the plans window on that plan. See What Each Plan Unlocks. If you just upgraded and the lock is still there, refresh the page and check you are signed in to the account you paid with.
Everything Is Locked After Going Offline
The Studio checks your plan with our servers. When your device goes offline, paid settings lock until the connection comes back. Reconnect and they unlock on their own. If you are online and still see it, refresh the page.
My Settings Changed or Reset

The Studio Will Not Load or Shows a Blank Preview
- 1Refresh the page.
- 2Update your browser. Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox are supported.
- 3Turn off extensions that block scripts or graphics, then refresh.
- 4Make sure hardware acceleration is on.
- 5If a 3D mode is blank, press Reset on the rail.
- 6Still blank? Contact support and say which browser and device you use.
