Export Limits and Cloud Render Credits

How many videos each plan exports, what counts as an export, how cloud render credits work, what a cloud render costs, and when everything resets.

Exports on Your Device

An export is a video your own browser renders with Render on set to "This device". Each plan includes a number of them: 5 a month on Starter Studio, 30 on Creator, 60 on Pro, 300 on Elite and 750 on Agency. Enterprise has no limit.

The allowance runs on a rolling month, not the calendar month. On a paid plan it resets on your billing date each month, yearly plans included. On the free plan it resets monthly from the day you created your account. Your account page shows how many are left and the date they come back, and the ring on Record shows it in the Studio.

Tip

  • If you subscribed before the current prices, you keep the price and the export allowance you signed up with (Creator 60 or 100 a month and Pro 120 or 250 a month, depending on when you subscribed, and Pro from before 12 September 2026 stays unlimited) for as long as that same subscription keeps renewing. Changing to a different plan, or subscribing again after it ends, moves you to the current price and allowance.

What Counts as an Export

SituationCounts?
A render on your device that finishesYes, one export
Cancelling a render part-wayNo
A render that fails with an errorNo
A cloud renderNo, it uses cloud render credits
Saving the same cloud video againNo
Previewing, randomizing, searching for a seed, saving a projectNo

When You Run Out of Exports

When your allowance is used up, Record offers to get more and opens the plans window on the next plan up. If you do not want to upgrade, your allowance comes back on the date shown on your account page. You can also render in the cloud: it uses cloud render credits, not exports. On Agency, contact support about Enterprise.

Cloud Render Credits

A cloud render is made on our cloud render farm instead of your device (see Cloud Rendering). It is paid with cloud render credits: one credit covers 30 seconds of finished video at 720p 30 fps, and 1080p 60 fps uses 2 credits per 30 seconds because it draws twice the frames.

Creator includes 20 credits a month (20 videos of 30 seconds at 720p, or 10 at 1080p 60 fps), Pro 40, Elite 100 and Agency 250. A free account gets 1 cloud render, once, up to 30 seconds at 720p.

Technical parameters

  • Monthly plan credits refill every billing month and do not roll over. A yearly plan still refills monthly.
  • The monthly credits come with a subscription you pay for at checkout. Plan access given by our team does not include them.
  • A cloud render uses your monthly credits first, then credits you bought, soonest-expiring first. Bought credits expire 12 months after purchase.
  • If a cloud render fails, the credits it used go back to your balance automatically.
  • One render never uses both an export and credits.

What a Cloud Render Costs

A render at 720p 30 fps costs its length divided by 30 seconds; at 1080p 60 fps it costs twice that. Every render is billed as at least 10 seconds. The cost is shown before you press Record and taken when the render starts.

Getting More Credits

When you run out, the Cloud option offers to buy credits and opens the credit section of the plans window without leaving the Studio. Any account can buy credits; without a paid plan, cloud renders carry the ballengine.app watermark. The smallest order is 20 credits, and the whole order is priced at the rate for its size.

Credits in one orderPrice per credit
20 to 49$0.40
50 to 199$0.35
200 to 499$0.30
500 to 1,499$0.25
1,500 or more$0.20

Tip

  • Credit purchases are final.

Cloud Storage

Each plan includes storage for your cloud saves, songs, MIDI, sounds, images and uploads: 250 MB on Starter Studio, 25 GB on Creator, 100 GB on Pro, 200 GB on Elite, 500 GB on Agency and 500 GB on Enterprise. An automation plan adds its own storage on top. Videos you download to your device do not use storage.

If you go over your limit, new uploads are blocked until you free some space. Nothing already stored is deleted.
