Choosing a Plan

You can start the free Starter Studio and four paid Studio plans online: Creator, Pro, Elite and Agency. Above them sits Enterprise, which has no export limit and is arranged with our team.

A Studio plan decides what you can make: which settings you can open, how many videos you can export, the resolution, the watermark and your storage. Posting to social platforms is separate: it needs an automation plan (see Automation and API Credits).

Prices are in US dollars on the Plans page (/plans) and include tax.

The free plan is a permanent account. It needs no card and never expires. You get the Studio, every finished mode (3D included), Randomize, the core settings and the Art tab. You can export 5 videos a month at 720p, counted from the day you created your account. Every free export carries a moving "ballengine.app" watermark that cannot be turned off, and free exports are for personal use and testing.

You also get 1 cloud render, once, of up to 30 seconds at 720p, and 250 MB of storage.

Creator gives you full manual control of every 2D setting: each mode's own settings, advanced physics, trails, collision effects, titles and counters, overlay positions, the seed generator, presets, cloud saves, your own MIDI uploads and AI song writing. It also opens the 16:9, 1:1 and 4:3 shapes and the platform previews.

You get 30 exports a month at up to 1080p, 20 cloud render credits every month, the watermark switch, 25 GB of storage, a commercial license and the priority support queue.

Pro is everything in Creator plus every 3D setting (the 3D section and each 3D mode's own settings), Shuffle one part with Pin, the Audio effects rack, 2K and 4K exports, Custom Region, a custom watermark (your own text in place of ballengine.app), the full preset library and bulk export and import of your saves.

You get 60 exports a month (2 videos a day), 40 cloud render credits a month and 100 GB of storage. The Growth automation plan is sized to post all of it.

Elite and Agency open everything Pro opens and add volume and people. Elite gives 300 exports a month (10 a day), 100 cloud render credits a month, 200 GB of storage and 2 seats. Agency gives 750 exports a month (25 a day), 250 cloud render credits a month, 500 GB of storage and 6 seats.

Elite comes with 2 seats and Agency with 6, yours included. Invite teammates from your account page, under Your team, by email. They join when they sign in or sign up with that exact email, and nobody shares a password.

The whole team uses one monthly allowance: every export and cloud render a teammate makes comes out of your plan, so seats never add exports. Teammates get everything the plan opens and keep their own projects. Only the plan owner can change, cancel or pay for the plan and invite or remove people. Someone who already pays for a plan of their own can join too: their own allowance is used first, then the team's.

Lite is no longer sold to new customers. If you already have Lite, you keep it, at the same price, for as long as that subscription renews: 30 exports a month at up to 1080p with no watermark, a commercial license and 5 GB of storage, with the free plan's settings and no monthly cloud render credits.

Enterprise is for teams that need more than Agency. It removes the monthly export limit and adds more storage and priority support. It is not sold at checkout: press "Contact support about Enterprise" on the Plans page, or open a ticket at /support. Cloud render credits are agreed as part of the arrangement.

The Studio shows every section on every plan. A section your plan does not include is dimmed and carries a lock naming the plan that opens it, so you can always see what an upgrade would give you before you buy. The exact list is in "What Each Plan Unlocks".
