What Each Plan Unlocks
Which Studio sections, resolutions, shapes and presets need Creator or Pro, and how locked features look.
How Locked Features Appear
A locked section stays visible but dimmed, with a pill that reads "Feature Locked" and the plan that unlocks it. Press it and the plans window opens on that plan. Preset pickers show the presets your plan includes first and dim the rest with a small plan chip.
The lock in the Studio is always the final word on what your plan opens.
Unlocked by Creator
Technical parameters
- Each finished 2D mode's own settings: Rhythmic, Escape, Drawer, Accumulate, Ghost Escape, Spiral, Breaker, Flag Battle and Glass Tower
- The Audio, Video and Cloud sections: uploading your own MIDI, writing new songs, the audio workshop, cloud saves and cloud services
- Visuals: collision effects, titles, branding and counters, visual styles, layer sorting, a custom image on the ball
- Overlay positions, advanced physics, ball placement, the outer border and the seed generator
- Saving your own presets and sharing them by link (opening a preset someone shared with you is free)
- The 16:9, 1:1 and 4:3 shapes, the platform previews, 1080p and the watermark switch
- The first four Shuffle one part tiles (Mode settings, Music & sound, Ball colour, Ball style)
- 20 cloud render credits every month
Unlocked by Pro (and Elite and Agency)
Technical parameters
- Every 3D setting: the 3D section and the Wave 3D and Marble Run 3D settings. Anyone can pick a 3D mode, watch it and export it
- Shuffle one part for every part, and Pin (keep a part the same when you Randomize)
- 1440p (2K) and 4K exports, and the Custom Region shape
- A custom watermark: your own text in place of ballengine.app
- The full preset library: every ball effect, layout, formation and sound FX preset
- Audio effects: the manual effects rack and the audio preset library
- The Round sequence planner in Spiral mode
- Export and import of all your saves at once
Resolution and Watermark by Plan
If a project saved at a resolution or shape your plan does not include is opened, the export falls back to one it does (for example 4K to 1080p, or Custom Region to 9:16). The watermark is a small, semi-transparent "ballengine.app" that drifts slowly around the frame.

When You Are Offline
The Studio checks your plan with our servers. If you go offline, paid settings lock until the connection comes back. Reconnect and everything your plan includes opens again.
