Autopilot: Set-and-Forget Publishing

Set a weekly posting rhythm once, stock a video pool, and let Autopilot post for you. Every control explained.

What Autopilot Does

Autopilot posts for you on a rhythm you set once. You pick platforms and posting times, then add videos to a pool. At each posting time, Autopilot takes the next video in the pool, publishes it, and removes it from the pool once it is live. When the pool is empty it simply waits for the next slot.

Which Plans Include It

Autopilot is included from Growth upward. Lite does not include it: you still schedule real posts at the times you choose, but nothing posts on its own. On Lite, the Autopilot tab says "Autopilot is not part of your current plan." with a "See plans" button.

On a plan with Autopilot, the switch at the top reads "Off" until you turn it on. Off simply means switched off, not unavailable.

Schedule Controls

Everything above the calendar belongs to the schedule of the brand shown in "Posting as". Press "Save schedule" to store changes.

The Video Pool

Press "Add video" to pick an MP4 (up to 500 MB). Give it a "Video title" (required; it is the title published on every platform), an optional "Caption", and optional YouTube title and description, then press "Add to pool". You can also send a render from the Social & autopilot side panel in the Studio with "Add to Autopilot pool", or press "From cloud renders" to pick a video you rendered in the cloud, straight from storage. The pool keeps its own copy until it publishes, even after the render's 7 days are up.

The pool drains oldest first. Use the up and down arrows to change what posts next, and the bin icon to remove a video.

FailedCould not post. Check the connection and retry.

The Calendar: When Each Video Posts

Below the schedule, a calendar shows every queued video on the day and time it will post ("Today", "Tomorrow", then dates), all in your schedule's timezone. Press "Pick a time" on any video to pin it to an exact moment: it leaves the rhythm and posts at that time, even with Autopilot off, and the rest move up to fill its slot. "Back to auto" returns it to the rhythm.

Calendar labelMeaning

Your timePinned to a time you chose.
Posting nowBeing published right now.
Posting shortlyA pinned time has passed and it is about to go out.
Waiting for a slotNo slot in view yet. Listed under "Beyond the schedule", or "No rhythm set" when Autopilot is off.

Tip

  • Times on the calendar are the plan, not a promise: a reached budget or a connection that needs reconnecting can push a post later, never earlier.
  • Two warnings can appear: "More posting times than your plan covers" (extra times that day are skipped and the videos wait for the next day with room) and "This rhythm spends your month early" (your rhythm uses more posts than your monthly budget).

How Autopilot Uses Your Budget

Each platform a video posts to is one post from your monthly budget. A video posted to three platforms at one slot uses three. When the budget runs out, videos wait in the pool until it refills. If a connected account needs reconnecting, Autopilot skips that platform instead of wasting a video on it, and resumes at your next slot once you reconnect.

Autopilot Is per Brand

Each brand has its own Autopilot: its own on/off, platforms, times and pool. When you have more than one brand, switch with "Posting as" at the top of the Autopilot tab. Brand allowances: 2 on Lite, 3 on Growth, 5 on Scale and 10 on Max.
