Publishing to Snapchat Spotlight
Posting to Spotlight for accounts that already have Snapchat connected, and the format Spotlight requires.
Availability and Requirements
Snapchat appears in your Accounts list and in the Platforms row only if your brand already has a Snapchat account connected. Spotlight posts attach to a Public Profile, so the account needs one. Without it the row says "Signed in to Snapchat, but this account has no Public Profile."
The Spotlight Format Rules
Spotlight is strict, so the form checks your file before uploading and tells you exactly what is wrong.
Technical parameters
- Format: MP4, vertical
- Minimum resolution: 540 x 960
- Length: 6 to 60 seconds
- Maximum file size: 50 MB
Tip
- A standard 9:16 export from the Video tab meets the resolution and orientation rules. Watch the length and file size.
