Publishing to Instagram
Connect an Instagram Business or Creator account and post Reels directly, with a note on the transcode wait.
What You Need
Instagram publishing uses Instagram's own login and needs a Business or Creator account. It does not require a linked Facebook Page, this is the standalone Instagram path, separate from the Facebook connection. If your account is a personal one, switch it to a Business or Creator account in the Instagram app first, then connect.
A personal Instagram account cannot publish through the API. Converting to a free Creator account in Instagram's settings takes a minute and does not change how your profile looks.
Connecting Instagram
Select Instagram on the Publish tab and press "Connect Instagram". Sign in with the Business or Creator account and approve access. Instagram publishing is available on the Pro Creator and Studio Elite plans.
Posting a Reel
Choose your source, write a caption, and publish now or schedule. Your vertical clip is posted as a Reel. Instagram transcodes the video on its side before the post goes live, and that step can take a couple of minutes for a longer or higher-resolution clip, this is normal, and because our servers handle it, you can close the tab while it finishes.
If a post takes a little while to appear, that is Instagram's transcode, not a stuck upload. The job keeps running on our servers.
Disconnecting
Press "Disconnect" on the Instagram card and confirm to remove the connection. Posts you already published remain on your profile.
