Publishing to TikTok
Connect a TikTok profile and post directly, with the privacy and interaction settings TikTok requires.
Connecting TikTok
Select TikTok on the Publish tab and press "Connect TikTok". Sign in and approve posting access. TikTok publishing is available on the Pro Creator and Studio Elite plans.
Your Creator Settings Load First
When TikTok is connected, the form loads your current TikTok creator settings before you can post: your nickname, which privacy levels your account allows, whether comments, Duet and Stitch are available, and the longest video your account can upload. This is a TikTok requirement, and it means the choices you see always match what your account can actually do.
Posting a Video
Choose your source and write a caption. TikTok does not pick a privacy level for you, you must choose one (for example Public, Friends, or Only me), and the form will not let you post until you do. Set the comment, Duet and Stitch toggles to taste, then publish now or schedule. You will see a preview of the exact video that gets posted, which is also a TikTok requirement.
- 1Select TikTok and choose the video source.
- 2Write your caption.
- 3Explicitly choose a privacy level (required, there is no default).
- 4Set Comments, Duet and Stitch as you want them.
- 5Publish now or schedule, then press publish.
If the publish button stays disabled, you have not chosen a privacy level yet. TikTok requires an explicit choice every time.
Length and Format
TikTok wants vertical video, and your account's maximum length is enforced from your creator settings, a clip longer than your account allows is rejected before it uploads, so you find out immediately rather than after a long wait. Keep clips short and vertical for the best result. To disconnect, use the Disconnect button on the TikTok card and confirm.
