The Automation Workspace

The seven tabs of /automation, what each one is for, and how to upload, publish and schedule from the Publish tab.

What the Automation Page Is

Automation (/automation) is the workspace for everything about posting: brands, connected accounts, the composer, Autopilot, the queue and your plan. The old Scheduled Posts link (/scheduled-posts) now opens the Queue tab. The top right shows your plan state, for example "480 posts a month" and "Automation active", with a "Change plan" or "See plans" link.

If automation is not active on your account, a notice explains that connecting accounts, scheduling and Autopilot are switched off, with a "See plans" button. You can still look around every tab.

TabWhat it is for

BrandsCreate, rename and delete brands, and set each brand's hashtags.
AccountsConnect, reconnect and disconnect social accounts for the selected brand.
PublishUpload MP4s to your library and publish or schedule them.
AutopilotSet a weekly rhythm and a video pool that posts for you (Growth and above).
QueueEvery post: upcoming and history, with retry and cancel.
PlanYour current automation plan, renewal date, plan changes and cancellation.

Uploading and Publishing a Video

The Publish tab works in two steps. Step 1, "Choose the video": press "Upload MP4" to add a file to your library, or click one you already uploaded. The newest video is selected automatically. Below the library, "Your cloud renders" lists the videos you rendered in the cloud that are still in storage: click one to post it straight from storage, with no download or re-upload. The post keeps its own copy, so one scheduled after the render's 7 days still goes out. Step 2, "Write it, pick where it goes, send or schedule": the same publishing form as the Studio (see The Studio Publish Tab, Control by Control).

  1. 1Open Automation and go to the Publish tab.
  2. 2Press "Upload MP4" (up to 500 MB), or click a video in your library.
  3. 3Write the caption, and any YouTube or TikTok fields that appear.
  4. 4Choose the platforms.
  5. 5Choose "Publish now", or "Schedule" and a time.
  6. 6Press the button. The post appears in the Queue tab.

Your Video Library

Uploaded videos stay in the library so you can post the same clip to different platforms on different days without uploading again. Each tile shows the file name and size. The bin icon deletes a video from the library ("This cannot be undone"). Deleting it does not remove posts that already went out. Library videos count toward your cloud storage.
