How to optimize your device, browser, and hardware to achieve maximum FPS and simulation quality in Studio.

02

Enable Hardware Acceleration

Ensure your browser has hardware acceleration enabled to offload simulation mathematics and graphics rendering to your GPU. If this is disabled, performance will drop significantly as the CPU struggles to handle the workloads.

Pro Tip

For Chrome/Edge/Brave: Go to Settings → System and Performance → Enable "Use graphics acceleration when available" (or "Use hardware acceleration when available") → Restart your browser.

03

Use Your Graphics Card

Laptops with dual GPUs (integrated + dedicated) often run browsers on the low-power integrated graphics by default. Force your browser to use your dedicated card for a major performance boost.

Pro Tip

NVIDIA: Open NVIDIA Control Panel → Manage 3D Settings → Program Settings → Add your browser (chrome.exe, msedge.exe, brave.exe) → Set Preferred Graphics Processor to "High Performance NVIDIA Processor".

AMD: Open AMD Adrenalin → Graphics → Switchable Graphics → Assign your browser application to "High Performance".

Intel Arc: Open Intel Graphics Command Center → Assign your browser applications to "Maximum Performance".

04

Windows Performance Settings

Adjusting Windows settings can prevent the OS from throttling browser-based GPU applications.

Pro Tip

Enable Game Mode in Windows Settings → Gaming → Game Mode.

Enable Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS) in Windows Settings → System → Display → Graphics → Default settings.

Set Windows Power Mode to "Best Performance".

Keep your graphics drivers updated via NVIDIA GeForce Experience, AMD Software, or Intel Driver Assistant.

05

Laptop Users Warning

Laptops running on battery power automatically throttle GPU and CPU speeds by 50% or more to save energy. This will result in heavy lag and choppy rendering in Studio.

Pro Tip

Always plug in your charger for the best simulation quality and FPS.

Disable battery saving modes when using Studio.

Switch to a "High Performance" power profile in your laptop maker software.
